Overview

According to the World Health Organization, the rational use of drugs requires that patients receive medications appropriate to their clinical needs, in doses that meet their own individual requirements for an adequate period of time, and at the lowest cost to them and their community. In this course, you will learn to make rational decisions in dispensing cardiovascular medicines for the benefit of the patient and the community at large. You will also learn to select appropriate cardiovascular medicines based on accurate diagnosis while ensuring cost-effectiveness of the selected medicines.
