On September 12, 2026, HDPTC Hospital, in partnership with Okwuluora Ndi Igbo, organized a free medical outreach at Amadeo Event Center, Enugu.

Beneficiaries: Over 10,000 people were attended to overall.
HDPTC Nsukka’s Participation: HDPTC Nsukka was among the specialist hospitals that joined/partnered in the outreach. Due to time constraints, the team recorded 298 blood pressure and sugar test readings, and attended to more than 600 people.
Food Pantry: A food pantry exercise was in full swing during the outreach, benefiting many Enugu indigenes.
Highlight: The outreach was described as a significant intervention, offering renewed hope to many attendees through early detection and screening of kidney, blood sugar, and blood pressure conditions.
